In addition to the grand prize drawing, 10 bonus drawings of $500 will be given away during the St. James Parish Fish Fry Fridays. The first bonus drawing will be held March 11, 2011.

St. James School has served as a centerpiece of the White Oak community for over 160 years, educating thousands of children. Your participation in the car raffle gives you the opportunity to support the future of one of the country’s finest elementary schools, proven by the recognition St. James School has received as the first and only elementary school in the nation to earn the title “National School of Excellence” four times. St. James School needs your help to continue this tradition of excellence.

St. James School, through its solid curriculum, outstanding teachers, and faith-based environment, provides an excellent, Catholic education for the youth of our
community. However, the costs of maintaining a school of this caliber continue to rise. We face the daunting task of keeping tuition at an affordable rate for our families while balancing increasing costs of education with decreased state funding.
