1. The price of each raffle ticket is $100.00. The purchase of a raffle ticket is not a tax-deductible contribution. Payment may be made by check, money order or by credit card through the raffle website. Checks or money orders should be made payable to Saint James School Benefit Raffle, attached to a completed registration form and mailed to Saint James School Benefit Raffle, 6111 Cheviot Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45247. A letter confirming each raffle ticket purchased will be sent (mail or email) to entrants within five working days after receipt of completed registration form and payment. If an entrants check is dishonored, Saint James School will use reasonable efforts to notify the entrant by mail, e-mail or phone; and, if unsuccessful, the entry will be declared invalid unless full payment is made prior to the drawing. By submitting a completed registration form, the participant is accepting these rules for the Saint James School Benefit Raffle as stated.
2. Completed registration forms must be in the possession of Saint James School (6111 Cheviot Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45247) by 4:00 PM EST on Friday, March 30 or before 1,000 registration forms are received, whichever occurs first, to be eligible for the Saint James School Benefit Raffle. This raffle will run from November 30, 2011 March 30, 2012.
3. Purchasers of raffle tickets must be 18 years of age or older.
4. First Prize shall be the winners choice of the specified 2012 model of Nissan 370z, Maxima or Murano or $30,000 cash, subject to these rules.
5. Name and state of residency and any pictures of each winner will be made available to the media and may be displayed on the Saint James School website at www.stjameswo.org.
6. An entrants chances of winning will be determined by the number of tickets sold and distributed. A total of only 1,000 tickets will be sold with each ticket having a 1-in-1,000 chance to win the First Prize. Weekly odds will vary based on the current number of tickets sold.
7. The raffle will close at 4:00 PM EST on March 30, or when 1,000 registration forms are in the possession of Saint James School or its representatives, whichever occurs first. Any registration forms and payment turned in after the closing of the raffle will be returned to the buyer. All registration forms will be recorded on a first come, first serve basis.
8. The First bonus Prize winners ($500) will be determined by a random drawing on Friday, February 24, 2012 at approximately 7:00 PM at Saint James Church Hall, 3565 Hubble Road, Cincinnati, OH 45247. The public is invited to attend. The winning ticket holder(s) need not be present to win.
9. If the selected Nissan vehicles are in high demand and short supply, and if the First Prize winner chooses a vehicle, delivery of the vehicle will be made to the First Prize winner as soon as practical; however, there may be a delay in delivery due to the availability of the vehicle chosen.
10. Winners will assume and be responsible for all options and accessories, licensing, registration, transportation and other fees, and local, state and federal taxes, including without limitation all applicable sales, use, luxury, income and special taxes. Saint James School SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE REGARDING THE CAR CHOICES. Saint James School IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ERRORS IN RAFFLE ADVERTISING AND/OR ANY PRINTED RAFFLE MATERIALS.
11. If at least 800 tickets are not sold by March 30, 2012, Saint James School reserves the right to modify the raffle and withdraw the First Prize, award all bonus drawings, and split the remaining net proceeds (income less expenses) equally between Saint James School and the First Prize winner. All proceeds, less prizes and expenses, will benefit Saint James School.
12. If at least 400 tickets are not sold by February 10, 2012, Saint James School, at its option, may cancel the raffle and shall return in full to each participant the purchase price of the ticket.
13. More than one name may be stated on the registration form; however, the first listed name shall be deemed the entrant. The Social Security number provided must be that of the entrant. Payment or delivery of any prize shall be made solely to the entrant. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant on the multiple party entry to allocate any such prize among the participants in the multiple party entry.
14. Saint James School will also hold 10 BONUS DRAWINGS taking place each Friday beginning Friday, February 24, 2012 and continuing until Friday, March 30, 2012. One $500 cash prizes will be drawn weekly during this bonus period. All valid registration forms that are in the possession of Saint James School, 6111 Cheviot Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45247 or its representatives by 4:00 PM EST on each Friday beginning Friday, February 24, 2012 will be eligible for the Bonus Prize Drawing. Winners of the Bonus Drawings will be determined by random drawing at approximately 7:00 PM EST. The Weekly Bonus Winners will be eligible for all subsequent drawings and the final drawing on March 30, 2012.
15. An EARLY BIRD DRAWING will also take place involving the first 400 registration forms that are received. The timing of the drawing will be dictated by when the 400th ticket is sold and the winner would be eligible for all subsequent drawings.
16. The decision of Saint James School shall be final on all matters concerning the raffle.
17. This raffle is void where prohibited by law.
18. The purchase of the CAR will be through Falhaber Nissan, 8680 Colerain Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45251.
19. The raffle will be officiated by: Wirth, Lowe, Wissmeier CPAs Inc.
